Rushton, Sandra P. – 50, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2014 at home. Born in Tatamagouche, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Jean (Adams) Rushton. Sandra enjoyed dogs, horses, gardening and sports of all kinds. She is survived by a sister, Heather Palmer (Peter), Truro; brother, Glen (Valerie), Wentworth; nieces, Robyn and Erin Palmer; nephews, Nick Palmer; Jeremy, Tyler, Luke Rushton; dear great nieces, Georgia and Ella; a dear great nephew, Parker; a great friend, Dr. Mary-Irene Parker, Parrsboro. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Rushton. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday [May 2, 2014] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Clarence Clarke officiating.
