Lina Roy (nee Cote) aged 88, passed away April 21, 2014 in Ponteix, Sk. She is survived by husband, Lucien of Ponteix, children Maurice (Leslie), Rosaline (Robert), Estelle (Glen), Florence (Buddy), Daniel (Sherry), Alain (Earlean) and Leonard (Lea), 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Roger (Shirley) and Marcel (Donna), numerous nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents, Hercules and Corona Cote, brothers Antoine, Rosaire, Oscar, sister-Louise and grandson Dillon. She was born July 26, 1925 on the farm south of Admiral, married Lucien October 21, 1947 and raised their family starting at Vallee Ste-Claire, moving to the farm north of Cadillac and eventually to Kelowna, BC where they resided until moving back to Swift Current in the mid-nineties. She devoted her life to her family enjoying her time with the grandchildren later on. She was active in the CWL, her pastimes were crafts, sewing, painting and gardening. The funeral service was held at Notre Dame d'Auvergne Church at 2:00 p.m. in Ponteix on April 25, 2014 with Father Guy Amedee Ainemon officiating. The Interment Service will to be held at a later date. Donations in her memory will be appreciated by the Foyer St. Joesph and Bridges Personal Care Home in Ponteix.
