
Cliff Mann

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Clifford James Mann. (Aug.11 1931-Apr.8 2014)
Cliff was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna(Gross) Mann; brothers Dennis Mann (May 26 1935-Dec.22 2011), Lionel Mann (April 5 1940-June 8 2010) and sister-in-law Barbara (Lionel) ( Fiford) (Mar.13 1944-Dec.25 2010).
Survived by Catherine Mann ( Seidler). Children , James (Myrna), their children Michael, Jenna, Amy and Trevar; Melanie Lay (Terry), their daughters Chloe, Tessa and Olivia; Peggy Sperle and son Trace; Barrie and daughters Caitlin and Kirstie; Steven (Karen); Jason and children , Anna, Jack, Aida, Kate, Jett and Kruz; Dana Hegedus (Kevin) and children Eden and Luke. Also survived by sister Joanne (Gary) Johnson and their daughters, Meika and Tara; sister-in-law Dolores (Arams) (Dennis) and their sons Duane, Douglas, Vincent and Joey; Lionel and Barb’s children, Neil, Lenny and Elaina.
Cliff grew up on a farm in the Hodgeville, Saskatchewan area. He attended high school at Queen Center School. Cliff had a keen mind, strong work ethic and indomitable will. He had experienced and accomplished much throughout his lifetime. This included farming, logging, oilfield work, trucking, ranching and custom combining. In more recent years, he helped his children in their various endeavours. All the while, he stayed involved with the family grain farm, which was closest to his heart. Cliff enjoyed family fishing trips, visiting and playing cards at family get togethers, watching NHL games, and reading western novels. His greatest love and sense of identity was farming. A memorial for Cliff will be held at a later date in Hodgeville.
