Nellie is survived by her loving family: her daughters Marlene (George) Magee and Darlene (Gordon) Garson; her son John (Carol) Wilson; her stepson Jeff (Elaine) Tanner; her nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren; her two sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Leo Tanner; her three sisters and nine brothers; her grandson; her great-granddaughter; her stepdaughter. Nellie loved being with family, and one of her greatest joys was spending time at her cabin in Candle Lake with Leo and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A lot of great memories will be held near and dear to all of our hearts of our time at the cabin. Nellie spent the last five years living at the Herb Bassett Home with lots of loving care from the staff. She especially loved the old time music by volunteers. Nellie worked 27 years at Prince Albert Nursing Home. She loved caring for people and was very proud of her time spent as an LPN. Her funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2 at River Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
