SMALLEY, ROBERT G. - 1924 - 2014 - The death of Robert Greene Smalley of Florenceville occurred on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born February 7, 1924 in Greenfield he was the son of the late Ernest and Nellie (Greene) Smalley. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Audrey (Nee Simonds) Smalley; two sisters, Georgia Biggart and Kathryn Stickney. Bob is survived by his wife, Gladys Smalley (nee Braun); four children, Sandra Mascolo (Guy), Brent Smalley (Sharon), Douglas Smalley and Scott Smalley (Allison); a step-son, Randy Morehouse (Kathy); nine grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Clark Ginson (Earl), Joycelyn McMinniman and Patricia Wood as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 2 to 3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm in the chapel. Rev. Robert McNutt and The Rev. Robert LaBlanc will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church of the Good Shepard Cemetery.
