CONLEY, VIRGINIA E. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014; Virginia Evelyn (Hurley) Conley, wife of the late Desmond Conley of Deer Island, NB. Born on Deer Island; she is the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Lord) Hurley. Virginia is survived by her children Garfield (Jane), Geoffrey, Dana, Maureen, David (Wendy) and Belinda (Robert) Thorne, brother William (Mattie), four grandchildren Drew (Mireilla), Stephanie (Shane), Craig (Sarah), Heidi (Darren), four great-grandchildren, Rowan, Reese, Sophia, Kate, a step-grandchild Christa (Bob), two step-great-grandchildren, Luke and Lacy. Virginia was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Roy.
Resting at Leonardville Church of Christ, Deer Island, NB from where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm only. The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. A private family interment will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery.
