Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 Ann E. Sutton of Harbour Grace. Predeceased by parents: Frank and Hazel; daughters-in-law: Louise and Goldie; grandson: Bradley; sisters: Jessie and Elizabeth ‘Liz’; brothers: Jack, Harry, Frank, Maurice and Albert. Left to mourn: five daughters: Ann-Marie (George) Lynch, Athabasca, AB, Mary (Aiden) Mesh, Tilton, Violet (Dave) Reynolds, Carbonear, Mildred (Frank) Dove, Harbour Grace and Jacqueline (Curtis) Cooper, Nova Scotia; seven sons: Maurice (Louise, deceased) and John, both of Harbour Grace, Samuel Jr. (Eileen) and Dennis (Annette), both of Tilton, Paul (Darlene), Moncton, NB, Kenneth, St. John’s and Terrance (fiancée Kathy), Spaniard’s Bay; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two brothers: Den (Madeline) and Bill (Jenny, deceased), Saskatchewan; three sisters: Stella Noseworthy (Ed Swain), Margaret Pye and Mildred (Bill, deceased) Dooley, all of Carbonear; also a number of other relatives in California, Arizona, Australia and a large circle of relatives and friends in Newfoundland; Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Fr. William Pearce conducted the Funeral on Saturday, May 10 from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, Donations in her memory may be made to the Ann E. Sutton Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace.
