(1949 - 2014): Passed peacefully away at home in Harbour Main in the presence of his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer, Mayor Raymond Edward Parsley, aged 64 years. He is predeceased by his parents: Vincent Dalton and Gertrude Parsley, grandparents: Edward & Ellen Parsley, George and Mary Dalton. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 41 years, Elizabeth (nee Buckle), daughter Kimberley (Dwayne), son Tommy and cherished grandson Brandon, sisters-in-law: Jenny, Georgina, Mary & Marion, brother-in-law Joe, many cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Ray was a retired CFIA employee, & mayor of the Town of Harbour Main, Chapel's Cove & Lakeview until his passing. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 am from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Internment to follow in SS.
