ELDRIDGE, SPENCER REID – With heavy hearts the family of Spencer Eldridge announce his unexpected death that occurred on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born on January 7, 1991 in Saint John to Sharon-anne (Doherty) Eldridge and the late Terry Eldridge. Spencer worked as a Harley Davidson Mechanic at Eldridge’s a company his father started. Spencer loved motorcycles, driving Harley’s and racing motorcross. He was an avid hockey and baseball player. The only thing Spencer enjoyed more than motorcycles was spending time with his daughter Dylan. Besides his mother, Sharon-anne (Doug Simpson) of Saint John and his daughter, Dylan of Quispamsis; Spencer is survived by his sister, Meghan Eldridge (Brian O’Brien) of Saint John; maternal grandparents, Reid and Lauretta Doherty; paternal grandfather, Jack Eldridge; great-grandmother, Barbara Noel; niece, Lucy; nephew, Cash and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father; grandmother, Marilyn and cousin, Taylor.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
