Carl Collier
COLLIER, CARL - Carl Edgar Collier, 79, of Salisbury, passed away at the Moncton Hospital Thursday, May 15, 2014, from a sudden illness. Born in Lucky Lake, SK, he was the son of the late Harry and Agnes (Stiles) Collier. Carl was a farmer and an electrician by trade while living in Saskatchewan. He moved his family to New Brunswick in 1975 where he retired as a school bus driver (17 years) with the Province of New Brunswick. He is survived and missed by his wife, Lily (Kristiansen); children, Lloyd (Marilyn) of Moose Jaw, SK, Alan (Sherry) of Colpitts Settlement, Ivan (Liette) of Colpitts Settlement and Elaine Odishaw (Grant) of Moncton; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry "Bud" of Swift Current, SK; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Dale; brother, Donald; and sisters, Elsie Heggie, Betty Morrow and Hilda Romanski.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Sunday, May 18 from 6 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Monday, May 19 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gordon James officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
