STELLARTON – Dora Louise MacPherson, 82 of Stellarton, passed away May 14, 2014 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Little Shemoque, NB, she was the youngest daughter of the late George and Adeline (Hicks) Scott.
Dora enjoyed travelling, handcrafts, crochet, knitting and sewing, as well as being an avid reader.
She is survived by her loving husband Douglas, Stellarton; a son Carl (Brenda), Tiverton, ON; son-in-law George Dyson, Halls Harbour, NS; a brother Charles Scott, Trenton, ON; a sister Victoria Gould, Moncton; sister-in-law Bertha Scott, Port Elgin, NB.
She was predeceased by her daughter Carla Dyson, brothers: Murray, Thomas, Robert and a sister Lucie Murray.
Cremation to take place.
The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday both from the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson presiding. Burial of ashes will take place in the Brookside Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Dora may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
