It is with profound sadness that the family of the late David William Dawe announce his passing on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 33 years Joanne; sons: Jason and Jeffrey; sisters: Jackie Dawe-Rumbolt (Carlton) and Cathy White (Jamie); brothers: Bob (Barb), Terry (Glen) and Chris (Carolann); stepmother Rosalie Dawe; mother-in-law Joan Pitcher; sister-in-law Brenda Porter (Calvin); brother-in-law Jim Pitcher; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Charlotte Dawe, father-in-law Henry Pitcher and brother-in-law Brian Pitcher. The family will be receiving family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
