MORGAN, ORAN EMERY - O. Emery Morgan of Hainesville, NB passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 21, 2014 following a long illness. Emery was born in Hainesville, NB on March 21, 1926 to Melvin and Alberta (Carr) Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carmel (Hull) Morgan; four sons, Douglas (Sheila), Daniel (BJ), Dean (Patricia) and Greg all of Fredericton, NB; a daughter, Sally Taylor (Rodrick), Hainesville, NB; five grandchildren, Todd Morgan (Terri), Amy Morgan Bradshaw (Scott), Sara Morgan Gillis (Alan), Matthew Morgan, Jeannie Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Carissa Morgan; two step-grandchildren, Joanne Cadogan (Al Irving) and Colin Cadogan; three sisters, Etta Graham, Viola Morehouse (Alvin) and Janice McHatten (Orval); two sisters-in-law, Violet Morgan and Rachel Irving; a brother-in-law, Burton Hoyt (Amy); several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Floyd, Loren, Shirley, Marcus, Eldon and Partlow Morgan; his sisters, Maxine Forbes, Helen Hoyt and Martha Morgan. Emery was a man of many talents, a carpenter and a tradesman in many areas. He loved hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet manner and his million dollar smile! Emery was an associate member of RCL Millville Branch # 59.
Visitation will take place at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Watson Williams officiating. Interment will be later at Ridgeview Cemetery.
