Passed suddenly, but peacefully away at her residence in St. John's on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014, Geraldine Mildred Carew, age 78. Predeceased by husband William (Phonse) in 2003 and son David in 2009. Also predeceased by mother Olive, Step-father Gordon, Brothers Lorne and Charles and Brother-in-law Wilson. Leaving to mourn with loving memories daughter Verna (David); son Ken (Marguerite); Grandchildren Melanie, Matthew, James, Mark, Meghan and great-grandchildren David and Madelyn. Also leaving to mourn sisters and Brothers Deanna, John (June), Bill (Arlene), Dan, Ken (Louann), Kay (Rick) and Paul (Mona). To honor her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service in celebration of Gerry's life will be held by family and friends at a later date.
