It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha Gaudon announce her passing on Thursday, May 29th, 2014 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 91 years. She will be sadly missed by her son, Urban (Irene) in Port au Port; her three ­daughters: Edna (Pat) Morrison in Vero Beach, Florida, Louise (Barry) White and Kay (Paul) Lidstone, both in Port au Port, her two daughters-in-law: Judy Gaudon and Nancy Gaudon; along with 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilson; her sons: Robert and Melvin; her granddaughter, Andrea; her brothers: Bill and Remmie; her sisters: Martha, Anne, Rita, Margaret and Mildred; her stepbrothers: John and Joseph and her stepsisters: Mary and Sadie. The family will be receiving friends at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port on Friday, May 30th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 31st, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with Fr.
