STRICKLAND, Clarence Harold
Clarence Harold Strickland of Willingdon, AB passed away in the Two Hills Hospital on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 88.
Clarence is survived by his five children, Richard Strickland of Sherwood Park, AB, Terry Strickland of Vancouver, BC, Donald Strickland of Edmonton, AB, Kathleen Smith (nee Strickland) of Halifax, NS and Deborah Milmine (nee Strickland), also of Sherwood Park, AB. Clarence also leaves nine grandchildren behind.
Cars, guitars, music and small town Alberta were some of Clarence’s favorite things. Clarence worked in the oilfield/engineering field most of his working life in Alberta and spent time working in the industry in Montreal, Newfoundland and Africa. He also enjoyed reading and was very well read on many subjects.

Clarence will be laid to rest at a later date in Rosedale Cemetery in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where he was born. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/NWT, Edmonton Division, #201, 9452 – 51 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6E 5A6.
