ROY ODD BERG
It is with great sadness that Roy passed away suddenly
on May 22nd in Sechelt with his wife and close friends at his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Erna, daughter Jacqueline Bell of Joiceville, Ontario, son in-law Stuart and grandchildren Dylan, 16 and Desiree, 12.
Roy emigrated from Hitra Norway to Toronto, Canada in 1954. He served four years in the Norwegian Navy and three years on freighters to the Far East as an electrician. Roy worked in Toronto as an Electrical Contractor and owned and operated Berg Electric for 24 years.
Upon retiring in 1990, he and Erna relocated to Muskoka, Ontario. In 1998 they relocated to Sechelt and bought their retirement home on Sechelt's waterfront.
His passions in life were fishing, hunting, skiing, woodworking and Norwegian Elk Hounds. He always enjoyed fine scotches and Norwegian spirits.
