1919 - 2008. Passed peacefully away at home on December 22nd, 2008, Jean March, age 89, a long-time resident of Maplewood Apartments. Predeceased by her brother Vernon March and her sister Betty Calver. Leaving to mourn with loving memories two nieces: Anne Calver and Janet Calver (Brian Gamberg); sister-in-law Mame March of Lady Cove, as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, December 26th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., then at the Lady Cove United Church on Saturday, December 27th from 2 p.m. onwards. The funeral will be held Sunday, December 28th, 2008 from the United Church in Lady Cove. No flowers by request, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
