FOOTE, Lulu Marie, 87, of East Baccaro, NS went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Bay Side Home, Barrington. Marie was born in East Baccaro on March 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marian (Ross) Chetwynd. Marie dedicated her life in service to God by attending Bible College in Truro, NS. She continued her ministry co-pastoring a church in New Minas and later in Canning. Throughout the years she led Bible studies, played the guitar and sang on a radio program in Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, Downey Foote; sister, Reta Nickerson and brothers, Harry and Keith Chetwynd. She is survived by sister, Avis (Leroy) (Chetwynd) Madden and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Cindy Dunnett officiated. Interment was in Woodside Cemetery, Port LaTour. Memorial donations may be made to Bay Side Home Van Fund or any charity of the donor’s choice.
