Upon the rising sun, Dick took his last breath of this world and passed on to spend his eternity with wife Micki, who predeceased him in 2003.
Dick was born in Calgary, Alberta, married to Micki in 1984. They moved from Sylvan Lake, Alberta to the Sunshine Coast in 1986. Dick was always an active member of the community and heavily involved with the Gibsons Chamber of Commerce for many years.
Dick is survived by daughter Kelly (John Lavery), grandkids Riley and Peyton, brother Lee, and sisters Dawn and Shelley.
No formal memorial is set. Dick and Micki will travel to the foothills of Alberta to rest in the mountains, where they spent many happy times together as a family.
Blue skies smilin’ at me, nothin’ but blue skies do I see.
Blue days, all of them gone, nothin’ but blue skies from now on.
