At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B., the sudden passing of Robert "Bob" Brothers, age 63, of Whim Road, Montague, P.E.I, devoted husband of Nancy (Dewar) Brothers, occurred on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
Born in Montague, December 2, 1950, he was the son of the late Alban and Florence (Donahoe) Brothers.
Bob is survived by his loving children, Michael (Sara), Kristin (Jeff) Daley, Angela (Dan) Brothers-Petrie; father-in-law, Stewart Dewar; brothers and sisters, Harold (Ethel), Margaret Ann (Clive) Johnston, Kenneth (Debbie), Carl (Kitty), John (Jocelyn), Claude (Roberta), Beth (Tom) Cullen, Allan (Lore-Lei), Frank (Bernice); cherished grandchildren, Austin, Matilda, Anya, Emmett, Maggie; many cousins, nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Marlene) Dewar, Stephen (Barb) Dewar; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Grant) Dixon, Brenda (Charlie) Fay. Bob was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Peggy Dewar. Bob will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love him.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from All Saints Cardigan Church, at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lower Montague Cemetery.
