Cassandro, Janet Faye (nee Bird) – Passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband and family at her side on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014. Janet Cassandro at the age of 60 leaves behind her loving husband Guiliano (Jules). Devoted mother of the late Jason Matthews and cherished daughter of the late Lester and Marie Bird. Dear sister of Joan Yaretz, Sharon Dickson, Caroline Bird, Lester Bird Jr., Roderick Bird and Keith Bird. Janet will also be fondly remembered by her Aunt Faye Tabor, Uncle Donald Bird, her in-laws, nieces, nephews and wonderful circle of friends. Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home 445 St. Vincent Street Barrie Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Thomas Anglican Church Shanty Bay would be appreciated by the family.
