LÉGER, RHÉAL - Rhéal Léger, 49, of Kinnear Road, Grand-Barachois, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 9, 2014. Born August 10, 1964 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Émile and Emma (Donelle) Leger. He was a fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Nancy (Gallant); two daughters: Sylvie and Sophie both from Grand-Barachois; four sisters: Julia Léger (Michel Dignard) and Claudine Léger (Normand Blais) both of Montreal, QC, Dora Reed (Tom) of Halifax, NS, and Angela Léger (Michel Cormier) of Grand-Barachois; four brothers: Louis (Germaine Arsenault) of Shediac Road, Paul-Émile (Monique), Irenée (Norma) and Omer (Jacqueline) all of Grand-Barachois; the family cat, Princess and dog, Tyson; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Marcel (1987).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9 am until time of departure (9:40 a.m.). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the St-Henri parish cemetery. In memory of Rhéal, a contribution to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Moncton) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac.
