It is with heartfelt sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved sister, Sharon Ann Tremblett.
Sharon was born Aug. 18, 1955, in Sydney Mines and passed away peacefully June 10, 2014, at Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck, N.S.
Sharon was the daughter of the late Anna Mae (Blinkhorn) Tremblett and Walter William Tremblett of Sydney Mines. Sharon was the mother of Kelly, Melissa and Don Michael Vickers. She was also sister to her four brothers, Walter (Brenda), Raymond (Diane), Gerard (Alison) and Glen; also her two sisters, Louise (Reg) Jerrett and Denise (Tom) Raine.
Sharon was an aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Sharon worked for the Federal Government, Culture and Immigration department for 23 years until her retirement.
She loved her many animals that she owned over the years, such as her horses, dogs, rabbits, birds, cats and she was an avid reader and enjoyed writing and telling stories. Sharon loved the outdoors, fishing and gardening.
The family would like to thank her special neighbours, Frances and Peggy MacKinnon, Baddeck and Mable Cox of Baddeck, Anna Deveaux at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the staff at the Renal Unit at Northside General Hospital and Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Dr. Carlyle Chow.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
Arrangements are under the direction of MacAskill Funeral Home, Baddeck, N.S.
