Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Center, Gander on Friday, June 13th, 2014, Rev. L. Roy Babstock, age 79. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Alma Babstock, wife Joan, brothers Rex and Carl Babstock, brother-in-law Raymond Smith. Left to mourn with loving memories are his sons Jason of Vancouver, BC; Ken (Laura Repas) of Toronto, ON; Peter (MiJin) of Ottawa, ON; Gavin (Tanya Stuart )of Peterbrough, ON; daughter Wendy (Alain Grainger) of Ottawa, ON; and their mother Lorraine Wright sister Eileen Smith of Gander, grandchildren, Samuel Babstock, Stuart and Helena Grainger, Oliver Babstock Stuart and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Friday, June 13th from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday, June 16th at 2:00 P.M. from the United Church, Happy Adventure. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Rev. Babstocks memory, may be made to a Charity Of One's Choice.
