SMITH, GRACE - The passing of Grace Taylor (Rankin) Smith of Woodstock, NB occurred on Monday, June 16, 2014, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born, May 18, 1933, to the late John and Ella (Cunningham) Rankin. She leaves to mourn a daughter, Linda Comeau (Victor) of Quispamsis, NB: a son Michael (Wendy) of Woodstock; four granddaughters, Tracie, Kim, Katherine, and Melissa; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Robinson; a brother, Ronald Rankin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bertram (Bud) Smith and two sisters, Helen and Marjorie.
Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB, where friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 2 pm. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetic Association.
