MacKenzie, Kenneth Vernon, age 84, of Lockeport, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 surrounded by his family. Born in Lockeport he was a son of the late Captain Gordon and Muriel (MacKay) MacKenzie. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Williams); daughters, Margaret Cameron (Lloyd); Jane MacKenzie (Robert Buchanan); son, Kenneth (Susan Ward); grandchildren, Richard, Noelle, Abby and Sophie; great-grandchildren, Maegan, Valerie, Ethan, Landon, Scarlette, Elora, Rowan and Luna. He was predeceased by a brother, Cyril and sister, Kathleen. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 2:00 pm in the Lockeport United Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Grant officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation.
