It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Kathleen Yvonne Johnson at the QE II Halifax on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, due to complications following surgery.
She is survived by daughter, Cheryl, Newmarket, Ont.; beloved sister, Pearl (Lloyd) Campbell, Halifax; niece, Shauna Lucas, Halifax, whom “Minniebon” was her pride and joy (forever).
She will be dearly missed by Sandy (Bruce) Campbell, Westmount and their extended families, as well as Francis (Lorraine)Davidson, Glace Bay and their extended families.
Many thanks to Betty MacEachern, Sydney River, a great neighbour and friend.
As per her wishes, cremation has already taken place, with interment at a later time in Cape Breton. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531).
Special thanks to all the staff of the Cardiac Unit 7.1 of the QE II for the excellent care given to our mother and sister over the past weeks.
