STEEVES , BLANCHARD BRUCE "JUNIOR" - 1948-2014 - Blanchard Bruce "Junior" Steeves, 65, of Moncton passed away suddenly on June 19th, 2014 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Junior was born in Riverside, Albert Co., NB in 1948, the son of the late Blanchard Steeves and Carmen (Harbell) Steeves- Bishop. He worked as a sales rep for Barnes Distribution. He enjoyed baseball and bowling. He loved spending time with his family,especially his grandchildren they were his pride and joy. When a loved on becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure, treasure the memories. He will be missed by his wife, Theresa Steeves ; daughters, Shelley Steeves of Moncton and Jamie Steeves of Salisbury; his cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Emma, and Isabell; sisters, Mabel Steeves (Robert) of Moncton and Gloria Davis (Ernie) of Riverview; brother David Bishop (Kathy) of Riverside-Albert. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his step-dad, Eldon Bishop; sisters, Pauline, Ethel, Margaret and Lillian.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Junior's life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB.
