At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, June 21, 2014, of Laurel McLure of Rosewood Residence, Hunter River, and formerly of the Dixon Road, Breadalbane, aged 90 years. She was born in Glen Valley on June 20, 1924, daughter of the late Sterling and Mae (MacLeod) MacLean. Wife of the late H. Gordon McLure. Mother of Doug McLure (Margo Dooks), Dixon Road, Breadalbane. Aunt to Sharon (Gerry) Johnston, Blair (Sylvie) MacLean and Hal (Maria) MacLean as well as a number of grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Predeceased by son Roger McLure, brother Arthur MacLean and sister-in-law Norma MacLean. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral in the funeral home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in the Springton Cemetery.
