LeBLANC, Alice Anne – 82, Tusket, formerly of Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 19, 1932 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Eulalie (Pothier) Pothier. Alice was a homemaker and she enjoyed knitting, quilting and playing cards. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Larry J. LeBlanc, as well as by their children, Debbie (Dennis) Doucette, Wedgeport; Gregory (Denise) LeBlanc, Tusket; Joan (Frank) Olsen, Yarmouth; Donald (Angela) LeBlanc, Chegoggin, as well as by grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Hanson, Fredericton, NB; Christopher Doucette, Wedgeport; Melanie and Jessica LeBlanc, Tusket; Kaitlyn, Sarah and Alyssa Olsen, Yarmouth; Dylan LeBlanc, Chegoggin. Also surviving is a sister, Ella (James) Henderson, Onslow, and a brother, Emery Pothier, Middleton. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Gertrude Pothier, Alfred Pothier, Francois Pothier, Althea Neilson, Anne Dawson and David Pothier. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 23 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Michael’s Church or Cemetery Fund.
