The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, June 23, 2014, of Verna Gaudet, of Summerside, aged 70 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Evelyn (Sharpe) Adams. Survived by her children Randy (Alka) Gaudet, Owen Sound, ON; Kevin Gaudet, Winnipeg, MB; Cindy (Bernie) Campbell, Bedeque; Kimberly (Kelvin) Baglole, Summerside; child of her heart Jackie Ferguson, NF; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Austin Adams (Elaine MacInnis), Summerside; and by a sister, Lynda (Ken) Smith, Summerside. Predeceased by her husband Lorne Gaudet; daughter Carol Durant-Gaudet; grandson Simon; great-granddaughter Mackenzie; and by a brother James. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the Summerside United Pentecostal Church for visiting hours from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday, at the Summerside United Pentecostal Church at 10 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Summerside United Pentecostal Church or the P.E.I. Humane Society, would be appreciated.
