HILTZ, Violet Armina May – 94, Berwick, formerly of Millville, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in Orchard Villa, Berwick. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Everette F. and Ruby J. (Kaizer) Morrow. Violet was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Berwick and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch No. 69 Berwick. She loved to garden and was a devoted wife and mother. Violet spent many hours crocheting and knitting items for her family. She was a lover of animals, especially her cats and dogs and had rescued many animals over the years. Surviving are her children, Mary (Lloyd) Lockwood, South Berwick; Charlotte (Lester) Pierce, Meadowvale; Marlene (Robert) Eisnor, Selma; Audrey (Bill) Briner, Middleton; Suzanne (Kenneth) Watton, Welsford; Harold (Jean) Hiltz, Hammonds Plains; James (Debbie) Hiltz, New Ross; daughter-in-law, Cindy Hiltz, Burlington; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold A. Hiltz; sons, Earl and Bill Hiltz; grandsons, Trevor Durling, Casey Bent and Dustin Eisnor; brothers, William and Budd Morrow. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in the Berwick Cemetery, with Rev. Ruby Carter officiating. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Christ Anglican Church, Berwick or to the Kings County S.P.C.A.
