Passed peacefully away at home on June 25, 2014 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his parents William J. and Mary (Flynn) Ryan; his siblings Frank (Mary), Joseph (Margaret), William (Eileen), and Mary (Ed); parents-in-law Tom and Ellen Horan; and brothers-in-law Pat (Mary), Mack, and Con. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Maureen (Horan) and his son Sam and daughter-in-law Beth (Manning); sisters-in-law Regina, Claudine, Moya (Pat deceased), Sharron (Gerald), Bernice (Leo deceased), Imelda (Vince), Blondie (Jim), and Bernadine (George); brothers-in-law Tom (Ruth deceased), Jerry (Peg), and Keith (Blanca); sisters-in-law Mary and Verna Horan; and extended family and friends. Long-time member of the Benevolent Irish Society (BIS) and honorary vice-patron of the Society. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Saturday, June 27, 2014 with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre.
