Hobson, Sheila - 63, Middle Stewiacke passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at home. Born in Hamilton, Ont., she was a daughter of late Elizabeth (Miller) and Thomas Morrison and step-father George Johnson, Greenfield. She was a member of Middle Stewiacke United Church, the UCW and also enjoyed being a 4-H leader for several years. The most important thing in her life was her family. She is survived by her husband Gordon, of 33 years; daughter, Margaret (Reuben), Middle Stewiacke; son, Ross Milligan (Tanya Varga), Iqaluit; grandchildren, Serena and Haley; sisters, Sharon (Jimmy) Burris, Pleasant Valley, Barbara Terry, Debert, Darlene Laird, Tatamagouche; step-sister, Edith (Darrell) Lynds, Belmont; step-brother, Benny (Wendy) Johnson, Kemptown; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Tom, brother-in-law, Walter Terry. The family would like to thank the VON and the Palliative Care Team for the care and compassionate given to Sheila. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29 from 7-9 pm; memorial service on Monday, June 30 at 2 pm; both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating. Private family interment in Fisher Creek Cemetery, Green Oaks. Family flowers only.
