The death occurred in Calgary, Alberta, on January 20, 2014, of Elwood Joseph Campbell of Calgary and formerly of Indian River, P.E.I.; aged 79. Elwood was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Frances Campbell of Indian River. He was also predeceased by his wife Sharon (Baines) Campbell and his partner Anne Harry. Elwood is survived by two sons, Danny and Terry, and one daughter Cindy. He is also survived by the following sisters and one brother: Freda (late Ebbie) Devine, Charlottetown; Mildred (Carl) Campbell, Indian River; Irene (Don) Crawford, Summerside; and Bill (Barb) Campbell, Indian River. A celebration of remembrance will be held at the Kensington Branch of the Canadian Legion on Saturday, July 5, at 2:30 p.m.
