It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, brother and grandfather, Norman Lynk on Monday, June 30, 2014, at his home.
Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Fred and Alma (Clarke) Lynk.
A practical joker Norm liked to play jokes on just about everyone especially Frances at Wal-Mart. He was a great storyteller (some true) and loved dancing, music, camping, fishing and playing checkers.
Norman is survived by his wife June Penny Lynk; sons, Larry (Kim), Greg (Cheryl) and Raymond, all of Cambridge, Ont.; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Dean), Wyoming, Ont.; sisters, Delie, Gertie, Tootsie, Aggie, Mary, Lila; brothers, Truman and Jerry, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Jessie, Joyce and Ivy and brother in-law Stanley.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his stepson Vincent, sister Helen and brothers, Everet, Bernie, Sam. He will be also missed by Saucy and Benji.
Visitation for Norman will be held on July 3st from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and a chapel service will be held on July 4 at 2 p.m. in Mclellan Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Vernon Reid officiating. Burial will take place in All Saints Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the All Saints church, Gibbon Street, New Waterford. All are welcome.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
