DOUGLASS, GLENNA ELIZABETH - Glenna Douglass, peacefully in Ottawa July 1, 2014 at 90 years. Beloved spouse of the late Charlie Brewer. Dear step-mother of Linda Brewer (Neil Rothwell). Predeceased by two sisters, Jean Louise Hurley and Jessie Faye McElman. Cherished aunt of James McElman (Sharon), Sandra Foreman (Gilbert Webb), Arthur Hurley, Barbara Jardine (Jock), Frederick McElman (Elizabeth Sloat), Danny Hurley (Deborah) Mary Smith(Donald); 15 great-nieces and nephews, and 22 great-great-nieces and nephews. Glenna had two successful careers, first as a bank manager with CIBC and later with the federal government, Department of Human Resources Development. Glenna was a long time volunteer at St. Stephen's Anglican Church and at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus.
There will be private family arrangements with burial in New Brunswick. Those wishing may make a donation in memory of Glenna to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Civic Campus or to the St.Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery Fund in Stanley, New Brunswick.
