McALLISTER, IVA MARIE - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 6 , 2014 Iva Marie McAllister of Lower Durham, NB passed away at the age of 75. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Zilpha (Stokes) Peterson. She is survived by one son Chris McAllister (Eugena Cormier) of Durham Bridge; one brother Clarence Peterson (Edna) of Taymouth; one sister Shirley Douglas of Fredericton; nieces Janice Douglas, Melanie Douglas, Amanda Douglas, Nikki Layton (Pat); great-niece Emma Layton and great-nephew Parker Layton. two treasured dogs Sandy and Sasha. She was also predeceased by a brother Harold Peterson and brother-in-law Johnny Douglas. No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
