DAVIES, TERRENCE "TERRY" - It is with great sadness the family of Terrence “Terry” Paul Davies, loving husband of Christine (Walker) Davies announces his passing which occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born 1950 in Portsmouth, England he was the son of Edna Davies and the late Kenneth Davies. Terry worked for NB Power in Quality Assurance. He was an avid outdoorsman, marathon runner, hiker, swimmer and biker. Terry cherished his time spent with his family. For those who knew Terry, he will be remembered for his generosity, kind heart, love of life and his sense of humour. In addition to his loving wife of 27 years, Christine and his mother, he is survived by his sons Paul Davies (Jasmine Pena), Carl Davies (Melissa), Michael McPartland (Tricia MacKenzie) and John Davies (Marion Ambrosio); daughters Andrea Logan and Michelle Laing (Stephen); grandchildren Peter, Ashley, Emma, Madison, Darren, Naomi, Michael, Ethan, Rhys and Isabella; brother Anthony Davies (Angela); sister Sandra Marris (Terrence); several nieces and nephews and many friends.
By request there will be no visitations. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
