CORMIER, KENNETH “KEN” - 1959 - 2014 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Cormier, 55, husband of Denise Arseneau, on Friday, July 25th, 2014, at the Moncton Hospital, following a ten month battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the beloved son of Emily and the late Alphonse Cormier. Mr. Cormier worked many years for Lockharts Ltd. and Aluminart. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his children: Serge and Janelle (their mother, Pauline). He will be missed by his sister, Jenny LeBlanc (Roger), his biological mother, Yvette Bourque (Henri); a special friend, Barb MacDonald (wife of Ken’s biological father the late David MacDonald); two half sisters: Noëlla Bourque (Murray) and Susan Gillis (Jack); his half brother, Daniel Bourque (Thérèse); as well as the extended Cormier and Arseneau families. He will also be missed by his dog, Billy. He was godfather to Maurice Cormier, Rhéal Robichaud and Amanda Cormier.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Saturday from 9 am until the time of funeral. A celebration of the word will be celebrated in the Chartersville Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB. In Ken’s memory, donations can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Unit 6600 “Oncology” or Palliative Care. www.chartersville.com
