Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s on July 23, 2014. Mrs. Ellen Lillian Dempster of Namesless Cove, in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wallace Dempster; son Shawn (Connie); daughter Shona (Amos); grandchildren Kyle, Kendall and Laci; brothers Eldon, Derrick, Cletis, and Dalton; sister Lydia, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Spoffard Earle, mother Isabella Earle and brother Norman. Visitation was held at the Gospel Hall in Nameless Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on the Sunday, July 27with Gilbert Linstead and Edward Barney officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
