CHEVARIE, CLAUDE - (1966-2014) - MONCTON, NB - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Claude Chevarie on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Roger Chevarie and Esther (Guimond) Vautour. Claude was the owner of Prime Woodworks and Designs. He attended Paroisse Notre Dame de Grace in Moncton. Claude will be sadly missed by his mother, Esther Vautour (Victor Vautour) of Richibucto; his spouse, Denise Savoie of Moncton and his two children, Danie Chevarie and Samuel Chevarie both at home. He is also survived by one sister, Claudette Chevarie of Dieppe; one brother, Francis Chevarie (Jennifer) of St. Louis; nieces, Caroline, Dominique; nephews, Jocelyn and Jean-Luc and the mother of his children, Linda Babineau of Moncton.
Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th, 2014 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be held in St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles at a later date. Donations in Claude's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
