ROGERS, WANDA JEAN - Wanda Jean Rogers, 54 of Chipman NB passed away on August 1st, 2014 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Wanda is survived by her partner, Murray Stockford, mother and step-father Dora (Wayne) Leaman; father and step-mother, Dennis (Helen) Rogers; Brother, Shane Rogers; sister, Danica (Jerry) Stafford; step-sister, Janice (Bill) Cusack. She is also survived by her uncle, Arnett (Gwen) Briggs; two aunts, Audrey (David) White and Susan Stewart; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wanda was predeceased by her brother, Derek Rogers; grandparents, H.O. and Violet Briggs and Cecil (Pearl) Rogers.
Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. (339-6612) on Monday, August 4th, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at the Chipman United Church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery following the service. Donations in Memory of Wanda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
