The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2014, of William (Billy) Peter Noonan. Son of the late Bail and Margaret Noonan (Gavin). Father of Regan (Barry) Thomas and grandfather to Mikeal, both of Summerside, P.E.I. Brother to his late sister, Marleen Greene (Noonan); brother-in-law Gerard Greene and nephew William Greene, Ottawa, Ont.; brother to Sandra (Myles) Birt of Pisquid, P.E.I.; and uncle to Michelle (Jason) MacDonald and great uncle to Benjamin MacDonald, Clyde River, P.E.I.; uncle to Jamie Murphy, B.C.; brother to Debi Noonan, Borden; brother to Donna (Dean) Taylor, Borden; brother to Bernie (Carol) Noonan, uncle to Melissa Noonan, Calgary; brother to Tim (Margaret Gallant) Borden, uncle to Crystal Dawn Noonan (Steven Hunter) and great uncle to Emily and Brandon, Borden; and uncle to Wilt Patrick (Chass Desroches), Summerside. Billy is survived by many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ronnie Nicholson, Dr. Orr, Dr. Carmody and the nurses in the ICU and Palliative Care unit for helping to make Billy’s last moments peaceful. A private family funeral was held on Wednesday, July 30 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Seven Mile Bay. Interment took place in the parish cemetery.
