The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I., as a result of a highway accident on Sunday, August 3, 2014 of Lucas Wayne Getson of Argyle Shore, aged 15 years.
Lucas was born on November 9, 1998 in Summerside, P.E.I., to his parents, Wayne (Claudette) Getson and Judy (Ron Loo) Crossman. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mariah Getson, Shawna Getson, Angela Loo, Jake Loo, step-brother Benjamin Gaudet and step-sister Denise Pollard. Also lovingly remembered by his grandmothers, Beverly Getson, Carol Muirhead; step-grandparents, Claude and Flo Gaudet; step-grandfather, John Loo; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Lucas was predeceased by his grandfathers, Ralph Getson, Elmer Crossman; his aunt, Carrie McMurrer-Crossman; uncle, Myles Getson; cousin, Matthew McMurrer; and step-grandmother, Tina Loo.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, August 7, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Greenmount Church of Christ Cemetery, Greenmount, P.E.I.
Memorial donations in Lucas's memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
