The death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I., on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 of Jean (White) Simpson, formerly of Bayview, aged 95 years.
Born in Murray Harbour, December 22, 1918, Jean was the last surviving member the family of the late Milton and Margaret White.
Wife of the late Clifford Simpson. Father of Margaret (the late Nick) Argue, North Granville; Eileen (Alan) Douglas, Stanley Bridge; Joan Simpson (Paul Roderick), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Karen (Chris) Slater, Margate and Bruce (Susan) Simpson, Bayview. Also survived by grandchildren, Maureen Blake, Joanne Argue, Jeff (Kelly) Douglas, Kevin Douglas, Lindsay Roderick, Jonathan Roderick, Brent Slater and his friend Elizabeth Campbell, Natalie Slater (Michael Fuller), Sarah Simpson, Ryan Simpson and Marshall (Tara) Matheson. Also by great-grandchildren, Lane Blake, Asha Blake, Presley Larkin, Abby Douglas, Connor Douglas, Louis Fuller and Nate Matheson. Also lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Cavendish Cemetery.
