Grant, Mary Phyllis – age 93 years of Orchard Court, Kentville and formerly of Wolfville, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2014. Born on September 11, 1920 in Saint John, NB; she was the daughter of the late William and Zulah (Morrill) Williams. Mary was very active in the Wolfville Baptist Church and throughout the community. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter Susan Grant (Gordie Gavin) of Wolfville; son in law Michael Jeffery; sister in law Jean Williams of Saskatoon; granddaughters Sarah (Chris) Hamilton and Barbara (Bill) Hibbs; great grandson Jarrett; also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2008; daughter Mary Jane Jeffery; brother Malcolm Williams; sisters Elizabeth “Betty” Lester and Barbara Williams. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and there was no visitation. A Private family service was held at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2pm with Rev. Ron Baxter officiating. Interment followed at the Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville. Family flowers only please.
