WILLIAMSON: Wilma June Williamson age 86 years of Swift Current, SK passed away on July 24, 2014 at the Leader Senior Home, Leader, SK. The funeral service was held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home with Barbara Wiebe officiating. The organist was Arlene Olson. The interment service was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Stacey Munro, Tyler Munro, Bruce Wildie, Lee Orr, Shelley Orr and Robert McConnell. Wilma is survived by a daughter Brenda Waldie (Bruce), Medicine Hat AB grandchildren: Stacey Munro (Paula) and their children Avery & Taylor and Tyler Munro (Shelley) both of Swift Current, SK. a sister Mildred Orr of Swift Current, SK and many nieces & nephews.. Wilma was prececeased by her parents: Edward and Ida Parchman, her husband Howard Williamson and a sister's Violet Gibbons and Leila Kaufman. Wilma was born in the Lafleche, district, SK and attended the Anderson Ville School in the district. Wilma and her late husband Howard Williamson were united in marriage in Baniff, AB on July 17, 1949. Wilma was a homemaker and did odd jobs from time to time as a waitress at Stella's Café and Telephone operator in Scotsguard and sold Fuller Brush products in the Limerick area, SK. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxilliary in Admiral, Central Butte and Swift Current and was a faithful Tops member in Central Butte. She loved Curling and Cross Country Skiing. She became an avid snowmobiler when her grandchildren were young. She loved to camp and travel and enjoyed playing cards. As a homemaker she enjoyed cooking and baking. She wouldn't hesitate to speak her mind even when she shouldn't have, but she had the biggest heart and was willing to give you the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by those she touched. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 279 - 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K2H8 would be appreciated by the family.
