IRVING, PAUL EDWARD - 1923 - 2014 - Paul E. Irving, of Riverview, NB; passed away at Monarch Hall, on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Born in Hillsborough, NB he was the son of the late Edward and Laura (Steeves) Irving. In earlier years he enjoyed the great outdoors, being a pioneer snowmobiler he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling and car races. He and his wife Edith enjoyed touring to many different places by motor home. He was a talented machinist having patented many ideas over the years. He worked for most of his life in his own plumbing business called Paul's Plumbing and Heating. On the occasion of his 90th birthday he received a certificate from the Mayor of Riverview addressed to "The Man Who Plumbed Riverview". His family will be remember him for being such a great provider, husband and father. A loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather he will be missed by his wife Edith (Fenton) Irving of Monarch Hall; daughters Carolyn (Wayne) Forbes of Riverview, Connie (Jim) Martin of Alma, and Karla (David) Richard of Upper Coverdale; sons Jack (Paige) of Dawson Settlement, Wayne (Cathy Dallaire) of Upper Coverdale, and Scott (Maureen) of Riverview; sister Aletha Jonah of Hillsborough; brother Guy (Hazel) of Riverview; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughters Paula Vanshick and Peggy in infancy; sisters Hazel, Frances, Marion, and Questa.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, August, 13, 2014 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 am with Dr. Laurel Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB.
